Greatly reduce cost of auctioning items

    1. Put an item up for auction. It has to be stack size of 1, number of stacks can be whatever. Set your prices and the auction length
    2. Click the tab at the bottom left that says browse, then simply click back on auctions. Your deposit to list the items will be reduced significantly.
    3. Finalize the auction

This doesn't work for everybody. It works 100% of the time for me, and a few other guildies. Others don't get the same results. Not sure if it's user error or something else that we're doing that's triggering this exploit, but as you can see in my screenshots, the cost was reduced successfully in step 3.

    My question:
Whenever an auction sells, you get your deposit money back. Does this give you the regular 13g 80s back, or the 60s back?

I just get the 60s back, this is just a way to list your auctions longer for a much cheaper rate.

Ah okay, was just wondering because that would have some huge exploiting potential. But nevertheless, thanks, this is going to help me when I'm selling all those glyphs and half don't sell

I don't think this is an exploit, more a misinterpretation. When you first go to post the deposit is showing as a total if you post all of said item, once you tab out and back in it is showing deposit per auction. For example your screen shot is showing you have 23 netherweave bags and the deposit would be 13g80s (which is 23x 60s) after you set up your items in single stack and tab in & out it updates to show the new deposit amount.

Is the third screen shot after posting 1 bag or 23? it's hard to tell as you have 23 bags in your inventory again.

Seeing as how it would have cost me over 13g to post all those, but I was able to post all of those at the price of just 1, I don't think it's a misinterpretation

So you posted 23 bags at a TOTAL cost of 60s?

edit: and do you then get 60s back per auction?

Just a display bug. Test it for yourself.

Post them and do what you said, switch tabs, you will get the lower cost to show up. The deposit cost of each bag will be 60s each time a bag goes in.

Post them with out switching tabs and it will show 13g. But the you will lose 60s each time a bag goes in.

Yeah i just got home from work and tested, not an exploit i am charged the bugged amount per post which totals the same amount shown before tabbing in & out. Just a bug as Amf11 said.
