Thats how I am doing it in BGs but I hve always thought the gate worked as a wall since it has never worked for me in arena +rep tho

Well.. this is very useful for stealthers etc to get a good position.. this way they dont have to sprint etc to get a good opener and the opposite team wont know you did this.
