Transmog with BoAs

I'd like to add the following to the top post:

this allows you to bypass class restrictions.

once i'm done (1/3 items Xmoged correctly lol) i'll post a screen of my lvl14 rogue in Druid T11

Also: i had more luck when i mailed the pieces back to my alt one by one instead of all in a group.

So i found a way to Transmog BoAs and send them through the mail so they keep there appearance. This is good if you want to make your level 1 or something looking like a level 60+

How to do it:

1. Put the BoA you want to transmog and the item on your main (Or whoever is high enough to use that high level item)

2. Equip the Boa, and do the normal transmogrification.

3. Go to a mailbox, and then drag the item into the mail, (dont take from backpack!)

4. Go on alt and wear new gear.

If it doesnt work the first time you may need to try again, but it should work. MAKE SURE YOU DRAG THE ITEM IN THE MAILBOX AND NOT CLICK ON IT TO PUT IT IN.
I suggest you try with the shoulders and chest first to see if it work for you because to transmog the head it cost like 300+ gold.

I wish I had a plate 85 toon to do my 19 twink warrior...was able to do the mh sword via hunter...oh well...thanks

This is what I noticed while mogging my gear.
1. You cannot mail more than 1 mogged BOA gear successfully, or else only the first item will be mogged. (do it 1 item at a time)

so i did that and now i have a level one warlock bank alt in priest tier 5:

Transmogged shadowcraft heirloom gear into my rogue tier 10 pvp gear, sent to druid all in one mail, all worked fine ^.^. About to change the ugly green druid heirlooms into something nice. Probably wrathful. Ty for pointing this out.

I think this exploit is great, it adds alot of flavor and fun to a rather dull grind to 85. Props for the 2nd time around!

actually I mailed 3 items at once and 2 of them stayed transmogrified... so it seems rather random to me...

You can also waiver the armor type with this too. Have the Cloth BoA's set to Mage Ruthless, and sent them to my lvl 1 pala bank, and works with him :P

Also sending them in singles idd seems to get more sucess rate for me too. o/

Just like to point out, that this is probably down to the fact Paladins can wear cloth. You still can't transmorg your cloth BOA with plate gear.

I've had it keep 1/3, 1/4, 2/3, 2/4 and wipe it when it was only 1 item at a time. I think it's random for each item.
