Wtf: Get Through Gates of almost any BG.

Hey!

What is this exploit about?
- This exploit will teach you how to "magically" get through the gates of almost any Battle-Grounds.

What do i need to do?
- Well, first of all you would need to acquire: Sandbox Tiger - Item - World of Warcraft (Sandbox Tiger), which on use, will be thrown 2-3 feet infront of you.

How do i manage to get past walls then?
- What you'd want to be doing, is to be hugging the gate, then using your Sandbox tiger(Or fishing chair), and then dismount it. -> Run Straight forward.

Can i get my other mates out aswell?
- Yes, if you can mount up on a passenger-mount.

What benefits does this exploit have?
- It lets you start up while being mounted, and get a real good headstart.

It's also possible to use your lag program to give you a heavy lagg the second you enter, and then just run straight through the gates.

...as OwnedCore's official Fishing Chair Spokesman™, I'd like to chime in and say that this doesn't work with the Fishing Chair.

I haven't tested the SandBox Tiger... but the Fishing Chair does not get you through the gates... no matter where you place it, it will appear behind the gate or wall, not on it.

The fishing chair has been nerfed many times over the years with this kind of use... barely works anywhere that it used to. Still a few places that work, but sadly not BG gates.

Looking forward to trying the Sandbox Tiger!

Hmm, they fixed the Sandbox Tiger before. That's why it tries to put you to the side or on top of it instead of in front.

I am down to 6 but will be trying this out soon.

Isn't there a BG teleport trigger right after the "gates" in some BGs that are active before the BG starts?

I don't see how this method provides a head start if those triggers exist, but it is cool nonetheless.

The only one I know this is in is Eye of the Storm. I've gotten out of AB/IOC/WSG before and not been teleported but that was a couple expansions ago (not counting IOC that got patched the first patch after Wraths release)

It's not that hard to get on a 3 seater, move to the side of the gate then leave the mount.
This works in ab (surely people know how to get out of the bubble in eots?)

There's also a teleport trigger in Battle for Gilneas. If you're a warrior (on Horde) just Heroic Leap past the invisible barrier on top of the boat's sails, then mount+jump through the ramp.

I think there's a teleport trigger in every BG except for the 40-man ones (iirc you could rocket jump out of AV as a goblin to get a head start not too long ago).

@rob, the other day when I was doing CtA WSG, when I tried to get out of WSG (via the tunnel way) I got ported back and dc'ed. No warnings/bans though, so I might have hit a tripwire or something. idk about getting out the ramp way. (this was Horde side, by the way)
