Lazy Consortium rep farming

Hey there, I was farming my way to exalted with some old factions, and I'm doing Consortium now. Since the only ways after revered are running HC-manatombs and grinding ethereals in Netherstorm for the turn-in quest I'm just doing HC-manatombs every day.

Running it today I noticed that during the last boss he summons these mobs http://www.wowhead.com/npc=18431 throughout the whole fight. If you don't kill the beacons they will turn into these mobs Ethereal Apprentice - NPC - World of Warcraft. These give 23 rep when killed.

If you're a class that can keep themselves alive from the boss hitting them (not very much) you can just stand there and let him spawn these mobs forever. I haven't done the math on whether it's faster to do this or grind the mobs in Netherstorm, but if you're lazy like me you can just sit there and let them spawn while tabbed out or doing something else, tabbing back in once in a while to clear some of the spawns and throw a heal or something to keep yourself alive.

To earn 21000 rep you need minimum 5 hours of fighting, not too bad I reckon.
