Get a potion of treasure finding(auction house) on an aoe class, empty out all of your bags, go to deepholm where the crater is on the map in the top left portion.

there is large packs of mobs that you can AOE and u are assisted by npcs to kill the packs as well.
loot and sell all the grey items to vendors, green items DE, and sell all of the materials you gain from [mini treasure chest] on the auction house. usually 2-3k/hr

how the **** can this be an exploit? the pot allows you to be able to loot those treasure chests no matter if you aoe or not. its just a small chance that it drops. making it working as intended

other than that im pretty sure things pretty similar to this and even exactly this have popped here before

this thread should be stickied as an example of how to not post an exploit and specially trying to explain how it is an exploit.
"not meant for aoe" is one of the best excuses to make up an exploit I've ever seen

I was using this a week after cata dropped, its not an exploit its smart use of mechanics and on top of that its been hotfixed. for a while now.

tried exactly this for like 3 months ago and that extra box had like 1/100mobs drop rate = absolute useless gold farm

I've done this 4 times over the past 2 days for the 1 hour long duration of the treasure finding pot.
Each our session i've looted between 15 to 25 treasure chests and total gold gained after sales (vendoring the greens as they DE to dust which is worth nothing on my server) was between 1500-2300 per hour.

You are killing the troggs that are in small packs around the golms - not killing the ones that attack the vehicles in waves as these ones were the ones hotfixed that do not dop any loot.

Guide, not an exploit, but still... this has been tested countless times by pretty much every gold farming blogger out there and all of them came to the determination that using this pot, even wit hthe help of mass aoe grinding, is not worth it lol
