    Moonwell Chalice exploit

    Hey! Found this today and checked if it was posted here, but I couldn't find anything so here goes!

    This is a very usefull and easy exploit using the cooldown on the trinket Moonwell Chalice (Moonwell Chalice - Item - World of Warcraft) just before you start the fight, and immedietly put back you original trinket, this will give you 1700 mastery in about 15-18 seconds if you're fast enough and is very usefull in the beginning in certain fights.

    I'm currently using Heart of Rage and Apparatus of Khaz'goroth and just replace it with Moonwell Chalice, use it and switch back right away!

    Always nice with some free mastery!

    This is probably working with Moonwell Phial (Moonwell Phial - Item - World of Warcraft) aswell, but I haven't tested it!

    Common knowledge? It's working like that with any possible use trinket... they all reset and trigger an 30 sec CD...

    Well, if you have a trinket with only Equip effects, it won't be any CD, and I don't think that this is intended tbh, fury warriors get awesome burst buff in the start of fights..

    No different than Tier set swapping.

    Shouldn't removing the trinket cancel it's own buff, hmm? Therefore this is an exploit.

    I don't think it does normally. Like someone mentioned above, this has been frequently done with 2-4 pieces of old tier sets.
    For example, Mage T10 4 Set Bonus is - "(4) Set: Your Mirror Image ability also causes you to deal 18% additional damage for 30 sec"

    So before fights Mages were having T10 equipped and using Mirror Images on the pull, then quickly switching to their normal gear set and retaining the buff.

    Just my two cents..

    I can confirm that removing an on-use trinket should remove the buff it causes if you use it and remove it for some other trinket. Tested with Za'brox's Lucky Tooth - Item - World of Warcraft I used the trinket and equipped a different trinket and my mastery buff immediately went away.

    The chalice is not common knowledge, not working as intended.

    Tier set != trinkets.

    As the chalice don't rlly give you the buff, it spawns a well that channels you the buff. Therefore it dosen't remove the well from the ground when trinket swap. Clever use of game mechanics : )
