Quick heal Warlock pets

I noticed this while I was questing, if your pet is hurt all you have to do to completely heal it is: Mount on your flying mount, fly up until he disappears, unmount, and he will be healed.

I found it pretty useful, saves me time.

It might work on hunter pets too, I don't have one to test it out on.

It's not really an exploit, pets have always been this way.


When you mount up, you are "despawning" your pet and when you unmount it is spawned again. Pets are always summoned at full health (except for a split second before your stamina is converted to the pet).

thats not the point. What if you are in combat and with enough haste ( example raid buff im at 30.84%) than at 3.5 sec cast im able to fully heal my pet rather than waste the full time to resummon my pet.

When someone says an alternative method at least try to give it some thought before you speak out of your ass or make a sarcastic comment.

pinkhair I agree that would be alot faster, but the point of this thread was just to heal it fast. not get a new one. I thought it was common knowledge though since I have been doin that on my hunter for a very long time.
Also Thrill I think your taking Insys reply a bit too serious. he is just adding another way to do it, which would actually be faster and usable in combat. you state that you mount and fly up till it disappears, then you have to land again. pretty sure normal folks would use about 3.5 seconds on that. sometimes maybe less depending on how fast it despawns. But thats just my 2 cents.
