Thing is, Personally I didnt get it to work in arena, Some other guy did, I never stated it would work in Arena. I only said it MIGHT work.

Ok, since I am the person quoted in the "SPOILER" part of the OP, from a post I made on the Elite forums, let me explain how this works since some people are struggling.

Basically what you need is someone with a high MMR, someone higher than your teammate's general average. It can ONLY be the person with the highest MMR in your RBG to do this trick. If you have multiple people logout and back on it will mess this up. Basically what is happening is that the game takes the person in the BG with the highest MMR and when they relog it doubles their MMR value, and then divides by 10 again to create a new team average. So, let's say your team's average MMR is 2k, but you have 1 guy who is 2400 rated and he relogs. This will boost your MMR by like 40 pts or so after the split. The guy can actually relog as many times as he wants and it will keep stacking, though of course you really can't do that the whole match if you want to win lol.

Based on the way the MMR system does its calculations, all it is doing is pulling everyone's ratings towards the guy with the higher MMR, not any more. Therefore, if all of you have the same MMR this doesn't really work. You NEED to have someone with a higher MMR. Now, you might be thinking to yourself, how is this an exploit? Well, if you are a 2k rated team against a 2k rated team and you win, you should only gain maybe 15pts or so a win if you are all at your MMR. But, because the person in the raid with the high MMR relogss, it ends up recalculating the pts you should gain and acts like you are actually close to the top guy's MMR. So, what happens is when you win, you end up gaining like 100 pts for winning rather than 15 because the game thinks your MMR is much higher, thus ratings increase quicker until you hit your MMR.

I hope this semi-makes sense, but the most important thing to remember is that you NEED to have someone with a very high MMR to really be able to exploit this. Also, be aware that if you happen to lose a BG the high MMR person might not be too happy cause they will lose a lot of pts lol... BUT, no worries really cause with the way MMR works, all he needs is to jump in with his regular team again and in a game or two his MMR and rating will be back to normal.

Very cool if you can access it.

Also, please note that you can Alt-F4 OR do the 20 second logout in BGs. I have not tested this in arena and cannot claim this exploit works outside of RBGs, but for the couple claiming it works in arena be aware that you cannont do a 20 sec logout in arena as it will kick you from the map. The ONLY way to do it would be Alt-F4

I don't want to encourage MMR exploiting by exposing a new method of doing it, but this is pretty dumb if true. Apparently, if someone logs out before the gates open, everyone gets that person's MMR.

So if you know someone has a personal MMR of 2900, you can just have that person log out before the gates open and everyone on the team will get moved closer to 2900 MMR.

It's not nearly as bad as the last MMR bug, but I thought it was worth noting.

Clearly you don't understand the search as if you are going to call someone out for re-posting you must include the link. ALso, if you actually looked, you will find that they are the exact same posts by the same poster, it was just moved from ELITE to regular exploit forums. It's a good thing someone like you doesn't have the ability to minus reo. Maybe in the future you can learn from your mistakes here and have a better discourse on these forums.
