Stay in Tol Barad during opposite faction control

The Exploit:
You are able to stay in Tol Barad when your faction is not in control. This is done by logging off of your character within tol barad while your faction is in control, and then log back into that character again when your faction has lost control, causing you to still be in tol barad.

Useless exploit some may say? You could do a Mass Guild summon or get a lock to summon people into there, having some fun destroying all of the oposing faction, this would be best to use straight after the enemy faction has gained control when its most populated.

It's been a while since I have done Tol Barad but I don't remember it kicking me out when it changed hands. So, I fail to see the exploit. Did they change it?

as long as i can remember (the whole 1 TB i actually got into :| ) it ports you out after a loss. also, with this method, your first death will also port you out.


an easier method is to just wait ~5 minutes, the guards on the bridge will have despawned, and just run across the bridge. i do this to farm leather when alliance are in control, usually /hugging makes them nice to me

Yea I don't remember ever being ported out after a loss.

You don't get ported out of Tol Barad when you lose. When my faction wins we run to the bridge so we can farm the horde as they run out. However you don't get ported out and your pvp flag wears off after 5 minutes. I farm Crock skins all the time, doesn't matter who has control. It does port out the non-controlling faction 15 minutes before the next battle. At which point the bridge gate is also up.
