[Shadowmeld, Rogue] And its extra use!

Hey all, this could be common knowledge i have no idea as i found it out today while playing my newly leveled 85 rogue.

It seems that the night elf racial Shadowmeld allows stealth abilitys such as Garrote, Ambush, Cheap shot etc. Now this can be beneficial in many ways from a extra pvp stun to that extra bleed on that boss! screenshot below for those who say it does not work notice how the "Requires Stealth" on garrote is no longer red even with Shadowmeld up. I consider this a exploit because the abilities require the ability stealth rather than shadowmeld, sorry if this is common knowledge!

    Zekky~

EDIT: Also works with druids cat form abilities! removed image

Can't you stealth after shadowmeld anyway, wouldn't it make more sense to just enter stealth? Or maybe I'm wrong and it doesn't instantly bring you out of combat. But nice find anyway.

Aye it does not take you out of combat, just temporary removes you from the threat table and puts you back on once the buff has been removed !

In pvp it removes you from combat and can lead to you getting a drink off or, like i do on my druid..

    #showtooltip Shadowmeld
    /cast [combat] Shadowmeld
    /cast [nocombat, noform:3] Cat Form
    /cast [nocombat, form:3] !Prowl

Works in arenas, just spam it a couple of times, it won't remove you from catform if you spam it. .

Thought this was working as intended? Saw a post ages ago about this and a druid+pounce, He got banned after excessive use of it and after petitions it was seen as a clever use of game mechanics?

Regardless! More people now know! so! Nice find :P

Kinda useful if you're still in combat due to two targets attacking your current target when you use shadowmeld... buuuut if you can use stealth as subtlety, you might aswell use it as you get 10% more damage from Master of Subtlety - Spell - World of Warcraft.
