When attempting the first pack, what's the best way to prevent the patrols from adding and smashing me for 300k?

Wait for it to leave the area... then you'll have a bunch of time until they come back.

And btw, we are not receiving loot because of low dmg done?

You have to deal more dmg to it/be closer to them when they explode to get loot. Farmed about 4800 rep atm. Great post thank for the help.

i am having the same problem as the above post

I modified my post because that happened kinda random... it worked fine next try

After killing 6 mobs, i recieved the epic staff - that was around 25 minutes BEFORE posting the post. - And it's not a bug, nor exploit - It's intended. (Confirmed by game masters)

And tagging to get loot is intended aswell now.

Just watch out for hotfixes, currently i know of a way to hotfix it - but stating it here. will cause blizzard to implant the hotfix atm.

So yeah, Delete the thread, so that we can get the maximum benifits and hoping that blizzard doesn't find out - and to limit people using this method.

It's been hotfixed, so that if you DIE - there's no loot, however ifyoure a hunter / Nelf, there's still loot if u feign death

Just so that I know that I am doing everything correctly, do these mobs drop no money and only possibly epics?

They should drop 9g per - and a random gray item.

Probably Hotfixed on EU Servers an hour ago.

We were just doing that method for 2 or 3 hours (after getting a hang to it we did both groups simultaniously /w Misdirection and bodypull... and a good amount of timing) when suddenly the Fireelementals despawned, didn't respawn and each of the adds we killed didn't respawn either.

Too bad, but I still have my slowable packs... fair enough, since kiting those shouldn't be an exploit and therefore not be hotfixable, right?
