Keeping Conquest Points after next patch = instant new PvP gear

For everyone that is wondering how this is done - well it's fairly easy. You simply buy any vicious item (perhaps two or what ever you may afford) and logout. Do not log in untill next patch arrives, when it does, sell the item for a full refund at any vendor = instant new PvP gear

If you analysed what I said you'd see I did not contradict myself. I said that you're not losing anything by trying, simply buy the item before patch, don't login untill next patch - if you can't sell it for a refund, just equip it - you will lose the points anyways.

Patch deletes the timer on the item, been like that since they implemented that mechanic.

Indeed, they've wised up to this since they installed the refund feature, it will just refund honor points for you. Just like WoTLK > Cata conversion and seasons in wotlk.

Every season someone posts this exact thing on Mmowned and every time it hasn't worked. Blizzard are lazy but they're not stupid.

The item is changed to give honor back, instead of conquest points. That means even if the timer isn't reset this idea is still useless.
