Dup lockboxes

Today as i was unlocking boxes for a friend using volatile-seaforium-blastpack and my friends lock boxes kept getting duped.

i don't know why it happened most likely i believe it was because as i hit trade then it blasted me back but still traded.

Will try again and get my friend to take screen shots after the raid

What do you mean, duped ? That it contained another Lockbox ? Or that he'd end up with two in his inventory ?

he ended up with an unlocked one and another locked one this happened 3 out of 5 times

You can receive another lockbox from a lockbox....it happens, you didn't dupe anything.

I have been playing for 5+ years and still have not had a lockbox in a lockbox.... And I am pretty sure that the unlocked lockbox wasn't automagically opened...

You can get lockbox in a lockbox (had rogue unlocking, and my max is 5 so far)

New with Cata on the Elementium Lockboxes. Funny though.

Just to further explain, sometimes, when you loot an Elementium Lockbox, you get a 2nd unlocked one which drops the same exact stuff as the first one, and yes, that includes some gold.
