Extra Inscription Researches

I searched forums and couldn't find a post detailing exactly what I did find out. This post comes closest : http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...n-per-day.html.

It applies to Truegold, so I'm not sure it works the same with Inscription Researches.

I play on a GMT-6 server, and after queuing Arena, noticed my new "minimap time" was actually indicating GMT-5. I opened my professions and wondered if I could do my Inscription Researches ahead of time. In fact, I could. So I did. During the match, the clock went past the GMT-6's midnight (passed 1AM on my Arena instance minimap time)

We played the match, and once I was back in Orgrimmar, both my researches were back up.

I didn't try testing the trick in BGs/dungeons as is done in the link above, since I'm still on cooldown (and someone mentioned a hotfix in the other thread) but I'll try tomorrow. This is a pretty neat thing to do if you need to catch up on Glyph researches, considering the amount of them there are to learn.

I barely ever come to mmowned.com, so no. People see rep fishing everywhere, in every post. Their replies are based on whether or not you "deserve the rep", so I just don't want the discussion to revolve around that. "LOL NOT EXPLOIT WOW U SCUK" or "lol rep fish" don't really help move the exploit anywhere. So straightforwardly enough, I'm telling them not to rep me if they don't like it, since I'm not expecting any rep from this. The wording was a bit off.

Discuss the exploit if anything. My rep doesn't matter, as the only purpose of the post is to talk about an exploit.

Rep fish or not, anyone who contributes something that is indeed an exploit, small or not, should receive reputation. There's not a whole lot of people who take the 2 sec it takes to send rep your way ( At least compared to the amount of people who will actually exploit this after reading your post. ) +9 rep
