    Easier High Priest Venoxis in Zul'Gurub for ranged.

    During High Priest Venoxis's snake phase he spawns green oozes out for the ranged, I found a few spots out in the back where a healer or ranged can stand and NOT get any damage whatsoever.

    Warning: you have to find the right spot b/c if you twitch around, you'll have to jump far away to avoid the damage since you're surrounded by the pools.

    My theory on how/why works: the spot is a little mound and the pools spawn around the toon, not directly under. And the pools deal dmg to your feet, if you're in LOS of them, so when you stand on the right spot, they spawn above/bellow. And when they spawn on the side of your feet, the curvature of the little mound you're standing on helps to LOS to your feet.

    Never tried this with 2 ranged at once, but I'd think they would need to be pretty much exactly on top of each other, else the pool will spawn on top of one person. Don't know if there's other spots near the door or near the walls that allow this either.

    Tried this, and people kept getting out of range of me. Maybe only do it with a group of people who aren't retarded. >_>

    Well, I was standing in the back middle, which I could heal the tank fine if he was tanking at the stairs. Not sure if he would be in range as well if he had moved to the extreme wall towards the door like I've sometimes seen a tank do. In any case, this will work for ranged dps as well, they just need to find a good spot and stick to it. This should be a very low group damage phase, and just watch for sudden damage to the tank in times that he gets splashed with the spit. If the dps die, just say they were standing in shit, standing in front of the boss.

    Honestly, this boss is easier 3 manned. Stay at max range from the other dps, and the tank NEVER gets Toxic Linked. The pools and beams are not really a big issue at all.

    Tip: The current DBM will tell you if you are taking dmg to the Pool of Acrid Tears, so jump outta that as soon as your screen flashes.

    Pretty cool I guess, but the pool of acrid tears is pretty much the easiest/least threatening mechanic in this fight. :P
    Edit:

    While we're on the topic (didn't think this warranted a new topic) I might as well state that hunters can feign death to have the bloodvenom beams stop chasing them..I assume this is true of any threat dropping abilities.
