Everlasting Guild Herald

The title says it all.
First post on exploit section (please be nice ).


1) Summon the Guild Herald
2) Relog if you want it

To be honest i don't really know how it works.. Porting out makes him go away but relogging makes him reappear. You must not summon any other pet or he'll go and the cooldown will apply.
Clicking on another pet in the pet window will summon the other pet, even if you don't click summon, so don't click
If you don't summon another pet the cooldown will not decrease and you can see the Guild Herald and Guild Page on cooldown even 4 hours after summoning it, but at any time, relog and you'll see him again.

(i can't make screenshot atm, i had it summoned yesterday and he was still there this morning but i clicked Miniwing so i have to wait 4hours to post screenshots.. I did it twice so i'm pretty sure it's a bug and not something that happens only one time)


It seems to be working on any pet but the guild herald is definitely the only pet that has an use for it.

Guild Herald lasts 5 minutes, and fades after that. The cooldown is 4 hours. So you're bypassing the 4 hour cooldown, by making him your 'permanent' pet. I imagine they overlooked it. It's nice for people who don't have the Traveler's Mammoth, since it can vendor for you.

@NanaCry Single clicking a pet in your pet window with left click won't actually summon the other pet like you said. Double left click or single right click only.

Argent Squire with pony? Could it be done once you activate the pony and keep it active? I can't try right now but I will tonight.

I don't know this pet, you can try it yourself but since it doesn't have any cooldown i don't really see the point :x

When you use the squire, he gains a debuff (buff?) on him that ticks away. It lasts 5 minutes, so it most likely will not work. You used to be able to Blessing of Protection yourself and cast the squire for infinite use, but they fixed that.

It's probably only really useful for the Seasonal pets that require a snowball (if it works with them?) and the Guild Herald / Guild Page as the OP mentioned.

I just tried this and I saw him despawn when I logged out. When I logged back in he wasnt there and was on cooldown. It did not work for me. I logged out in town with the instant logout. Did you by chance logout somewhere with a 20 sec logout?

(Also, the Argent Squire didnt work either as roflcopter666 mentioned. The debuff continued to tick away on him while I was logged)
