Easy skinning skillpoints.

Skinning is currently bugged to give skillpoints on gray mobs. I did 460 to 525 on Elwynn Forest wolves. They were gray and level 7, yet they gave skillpoints. Be quick before they hotfix it.

It's 1 skillpoint per animal I skin, regardless of its level.

It's very strange. I did 1-300 skinning and every mob gave 1 skillpoint. Now i get every 2 mobs 1 skillpoint wheter the mob is grey or orange to skin.

2 Boar pens in Durotar outside org entrance. Opposite sides of the main trail.

maybe a good spot is in borean tundra killing groups of rhinoceros.

for some reason the 300+ skill uses another factor to decide wether to level or not. normaly even outland mobs, even when orange, dont always award skillups.

I got 1 skillpoint from gray mobs before 300, now i get 1 each 2 gray mobs

Only works on these low level mobs.When i moved to Darkshire and the bears/wolves there were greyed they didnt give skill.

It's still working perfect for me no matter what I try to skin. Any mob 1-299 is +1 point per skin, 300-400 seemed to be +1 every 2, and 400+ so far has been every 2-3.

where is a good spot to do this?

I needed knothide leather for leveling LW on an alt, so I went to the slime rivers around shadowmoon valley and killed basilisks. Leveled up from 350 to 540 skinning(worgen) in about 30 minutes.
