Tried this earlier, everyone grabbed the red cauldron and stood near the boss dpsing, didnt seem like the fire from the cauldron was effecting zanzil at all.

tried it at around 3am this morning (7:36PM now) worked fine, he summoned zombies first then green and he died before he even made it to blue cauldron

Yup, unless he goes green first, then you probably won't make it since you need to trade red buff for green buff.
