[Tank] Avoid being hit at all for Al'akir

I found this little bug when tanking Al'akir 25 heroic, not game breaking but it's useful for avoiding damage when things are messy.

If you stand right in the spot where you lose melee range with Al'akir, he won't hit you or cast electrocute, the try I noticed this after 6 seconds he dropped aggro (not lost it but he changed target) but I didn't hit him, I don't know if you lose aggro if you hit him when you're on the spot I've to test it.

SS of the spot (Works in every spot as long as you're exactly at the limit of melee range)

As you can see the boss has a few stacks of my seal and I can only proc them with avenger's shield and judgment without being on range, so I was 15 seconds on combat and my life didn't drop (didn't heal neither)

The boss has no target so I think that I lost aggro there but I'm not sure.

Whatever you can use this like 3-4 seconds to avoid some damage if your healer got caught in Tornado or Wind Bursted out of the platform.

I can tell that this has not been fixed in 4.1 so enjoy it while it last.

I figured this out a while ago as well. If you stay in the blind spot for too long, he will randomly start killing your melee.

And possibly your ranged with Electrocute if there's no melee? His targetting/threat is pretty weird.

Maybe fun to kill PUGs with, but I advice against doing it on heroic with your guild.

You can use it on heroic but you've to be careful, when for example your healer for some reason fell of the platform you can be in the safe spot about 3-4 seconds without taking damage and Al'akir won't hit the melee until 6 seconds or so.

    Tested on 4 heroic kills.

I'm well aware of how it works, I'm just warning people to avoid using it if they can help it, since his aggro is pretty buggy. I'm sure you've noticed the threat being weird when someone pulls the boss before you, and no matter how much you taunt or how much you attack, he's generally pretty set on killing that person first.

There's very little reason for a healer to fall of the platform in P1 on repeat kills though. And anyone eating a full duration squall in P2 (without being life gripped out, thus avoiding getting punted off the platform in the first place) probably means you have no business being there in the first place. After all, you can only have 1 P1 death on heroic 10 man, or 3 P1 deaths on heroic 25 man, and none of them can be dead off the platform, or it's really not worth continuing.

Anyway, this has been working since late December since we first killed him on normal, and still in march when we killed him on heroic. Also still works as off wednesday night (post 4.1). So there's probably no easy fix for it, or they don't care. Possibly because it can be a double-edged sword, so to speak.
