Logout [Almost] Anywhere Instantly

Alright, so rather than another bullshit thread from me, here is something that actually is an exploit/unintended.

1. Take a FP from anywhere to anywhere.
2. Game Menu -> Logout
3. It's instant.

very old. this used to make you get off at the next flight path if you had taken the wrong destination.
and it is not "almost anwhere". VERY limited with no advantage.

How's this an exploit? It's always been an instant logout since vanilla (so yea, it's intended) on a flight path and not to mention that most of the time it would take more than 20 seconds to actually get to a flight path if you're not in a city.

I think this would be faster:
Heartstone = 10 sec, Loading Screen ~5 sec for a decent computer than hit Esc>Logout = 15 seconds in total.

+ going around searching for a flight path is gonna take abit more than 20 seconds anyways, and when you get back on you gotta wait while you fly to the closest flight master.

So fly to a town where you would normally log out instantly. Then waste your money flying to somewhere you don't need to go. And then enjoy the 1m flight when you log back in? I'm sorry but I vote useless on this one

Alt+F4 won't save addon settings but (I will go out on a limb when I say this now) I think "/console quit" does save settings properly and exits the game instantly -no data lost, all is well. Not logout but instant exit. :P

Chose a fly => 5 secs
Log off => 5 secs
When you log back, you have to wait the next FP => 30 secs

Result = 1m10s to log off, gg. Worst thing I've ever seen LOL

It must have been a very tiresome process accumulating 130 reputation through "contributions" like these. Neither an exploit nor unintended, and about as useful as a coronary.

That's all I have to say. Ordinarily I wouldn't say anything, but the fact that you are acting like a belligerent arse in the face of (valid) criticism has given me a motive.

Yes that's the one place it could be used, but this still is not an exploit, it would even be fit in the guides section because it's practically useless. It's working as intended and if I had to take a guess as to why it's instant then i'd guess it's because when you normally logout when flying you can't move, but on flight paths it's automatic and there's no way to pause it at the location you are, so they made it instant.

Correct, and people would be pissed when they took the wrong flight path because you couldnt stop it, so having the logout instant, you stop at the nearest flight path once logged in.
