    [DK] Unwippable on Cookie

In Deadmines, a Death Knight is able to raise an ally as a ghoul if someone dies before him/her. Cookie will never target the ghoul to throw food at, and the ghoul will never get hit by the AoE on the ground. If the player that is a ghoul keeps attacking Cookie it will keep him in combat so he will not despawn, allowing other players in the group to run back if you happen to wipe.

Not game breaking, and Cookie isn't an extremely hard boss but this might be applicable in other situations as well.

    Cheers,
    ~Kor

You sound cocky and are acting like this is game breaking.
I'll rephrase grimmeged's comment for you.
Congratulations on finding an exploit, however, due to the circumstances of WoW at the moment, and the way the encounter works, this is useless for this boss. However, using a ghoul to keep something in combat COULD come in handy depending on the situation.

Name's a bit misleading: You say it makes it impossible to wipe, but then you say that the ghoul prevents him from despawning when you do wipe. A proper title would've been "[DK] Prevent Cookie's health from resetting after a wipe"

While not exactly something common, or logical for that matter, this would be nice to do if it were possible to wipe on Cookie, but I've never even seen a group wipe on Cookie. He's more of a gimme fight than the target dummy. If I end up with a DK in a group, and we somehow miserably fail on cookie, I'll be sure to test this out. But, until then, I wanna see proof that it is possible to wipe on Cookie without LETTING him kill you. Nice find for eventual bad groups!

Hey thanks for that - keeping things in combat with a pet has been around for many years

I think your missing the point, the DK ghoul will stay up even after the DK has died. Having only a pet up after the owner has died is completely new to me.

So, a DK dies and the ally he raised stays alive? If this is new to you, then you have not played for very long...

And try to keep it clean pls hate to read when somebody comes up with something that he gets right away attacked.
Less fun to post stuff. If you think it's a repost or something hit the repost button then giving useless comments. Peace out

so it's "oh hey, this exploit cant make me rich so its useless" or "Cause i wont use it, it sucks and useless"

An exploit is still an exploit even if you don't like it or it's useless for you. someone will use it at.
