nice job and all of that, but isn't all the stuff in the video the very definition of the "useless" they try to avoid on this section of the forums?

I mean, the video is well made and abuses many bugs, but they give no advantage whatsoever over others, which is a very big discussion around here, every now and then I see people posting small posts about a hole in the world they found and can be used to explore, or client-sided graphical changes that they found interesting, and they call it useless for not giving any advantages over other players, but when it's a full fledged 30 min movie, everyone loves it and say it's pro-exploiting

nothing against it, really, I really enjoyed watching it, it's just something that came to mind after all this time I've been around the forums

Exploiting is not what you might think it is, it has many definitions but on MMowned its pretty much anything that is not intended even if some people find it useless or others find it to be very amusing. Now the exploits you might want is things like god mode, + extra stats, or things that help you with gold. Sorry to say but such exploits are very rare to come across, I completely understand what your trying to say. Yes, this has been a big debate around here and the same excuse that people will say, "you might not find this useful but people like explorers and my self find it very useful".

I really do wish we could show you some amazing exploits like that but then again those exploits are worth some money... =)

that's exactly what I mean. if people bash on smaller threads about "exploration exploits" and praise your thread because it's a 30 min of hard work, it's because there's something wrong on the rules. following the "normal" rules, I'd say this thread would be better fit on the exploration section of the forums, however, since it's such a "big" project, it may be worth the space on the exploit forums, even if it's just more of the same "useless" stuff posted and bashed often

but meh, who cares, it's a friggin nice video anyway

In my mind this video is a huge help to explorers 200% on a mount and you cant get dismounted. Port to 0,0,0 of any map ID. It may be useful to some but not to others.
