Magmaw Heroic 25man- Easily kitable adds

You do not need to kill Omnitron Defense for this, so you can spend some time in their heroic mode after Magmaw is down.

As you all know there are adds(Blazing Bone Construct) which spawn during the whole fight in Magmaw hardmode. But as of now you do not have to deal with em. You need a paladin holy (or any class that runs higher than 100% speed, can taunt and heal itself) and 3 hunters.

Paladin will taunt first Blazing and will run down stairs, heading to Omnitron's way, but he'll take the other stair instead of heading to Omnitron Defense itself. Hunters will take turns as Blazing Bones spawn, heading to the kiter, then using MD and Feign Death after the mob is taunted. This way, you only deal with parasites and other mechanics, ignoring those adds.

Paladin is the best for this as he can use Consectration and make aggro on all Blazing Bones as close to the final there will be around 16 or so Blazing Bone Constructs.

We've attempted this method before you posted this and found that the add would continue to group agro every so often until it was well away from the group. Also they spawn where you'll need an off-tank picking them up until there are 2, then taunt them down the stairs and begin the loop. After that you'll have 2 more every time you come back up.

It's also more of a figure eight we used where they went down the broken stair, up the right stair for omnotron, down the left (this is facing omnoton from zone in) and up the escalator to magmaw again.

The broken stair provided a few problems where you can fall into the cracks or cause the skelies to act all funny.



Avoid the red shape as you'll fall into the crack going for it. You'll just from left to rightish to hit that middle thing proper and then cross the Finnish Line with the Helsinki cheer club giving you support and repeat that process.

This method in the 11 attempts we put in on it didn't seem to make it as easy as it would seem removing that mechanic from the fight should. It does work though it was just short comings on our part that kept us from killing it.

Also they should of just made Vaels room again in BWD imo.

@gwenstefani: The way you are doing is kinda harder, because you'll take damage from Magmaw itself and if you lag and jump into the middle, adds will reset and will rape your raid :P. The method i posted is all against lag/human errors.

Actually my guild just cleared other hard modes and we started working on Magmaw strategy, then i saw the 10 or so videos on youtube and came here to share the strategy we came with, while abusing that exploit until they fix it.

Just to note, you can't do this anymore as the mobs WILL reset when entering 35% hp phase. Please lock

That is not true at all. If they reset, your kiter did something wrong. We killed this on H25 a couple hours ago using this strategy.

It is fixed, but the adds hp are nerfed. Which was the reason why guilds did it this way. So now you might aswell kill them.
