Mindvisioning Rogues

So waiting to get into a Tol Barad battleground, i was bored on my sexy shadow priest and started to mindvisioning random things over the bridge.

Suddenly a rogue from the opposite faction ran into my view, so i chained visioned on to him. He runs CLEAR on the other side of the map - to Wardens Vigil - kills a player from my factions, and hopped into stealth.

Even after he plopped into stealth, my mindvision didn't wear off. So I spent the entire rest of the TB calling things out in /general as often as i could.

Hope this helps someone, you can definitely use this in other ways, but this is the latest news on this endeavor of mindvisions.

The only thing that will remove mind vision is cloak of shadows. I did this with rogues and ferals that were dueling outside org a couple months back. I didnt see much of an exploit to it, so saw no need to report it here.

Not an exploit, and it's not usable in Arena.

Didn't realize this was working as intended, if a mod can move this to Guides, i think that is more suited

Vanish also removes it, including from friendly targets who MV you. If I had a guess, divine shield and iceblock probably also remove it. These targets are probably the worst to MV if you're trying to spy on the enemy team as they routinely use abilities that will remove it.

Mindvision, isn't there a 1 minute for it being active then needs to be refreshed/recast and the OP said it never dropped off the rogue when he stealthed it didn't drop off and he continued MV him the whole battle? Sounds like a good exploit to me.

from memory mind vision has a 1 minute duration, infinite range and can be casted on the same target. theres no exploit here

Damn, nobody watched Vanilla PvP videos that had priests in them? This has been around since launch and is not an exploit. It's "mostly"(minus exploration etc.) the spell's general purpose if you actually bother to think about it.

Normally Mindvision has a range, huge but still a range - sounds weird.
As already posted, only vanish/cloak removes it - always used this in duels, perfect for a fast massdispel if they're feared too far away and u don't want a sap

This is how i used to beat rogues. Fear em away vision them shadow word them out of stealth near you. GG
