Leave battleground without deserted debuff

Ok simple trick I found out while farming AV weekend.

By writing /away while in BG will remove you from battleground and does NOT give you deserted debuff.

How is this usefull?

Very easy way to skip AVs that are clearly getting stuck. Just type /away and queue for new bg. At the moment bg queues are under 1 minute on my battlegroup so it's easy to get in new one that may end in 10 min instead of 30 min HK farming.

Also good for Random BG queue when there is no weekend bonuses. You can easily skip annoying bgs like WSG.

Realy? Just did this after ur reply and it worked for me :/

Something to do with EU / US? Seen people saying stuff like that in forums no idea how it affects. Can post movie if others are telling it aint working. Prolly bugged for me somehow then. Gonna try repeat it after relogging.


Edit: Tried relogging and still working for me. Can spam leave BGs as much as I like. If some1 from EU could try it also would be great.

Edit2: After some testing with friends seems like it's only my account that is bugged. I can actualy leave bgs anyway I want and it wont give me deserted debuff. Can't even figure out how to remove that bug from my account atm. Feel free to remove this thread cause it's only bugged for me and can't figure out why. If some1 doesn't believe it I can upload vid. So my bad for making thread without enought testing

I just tried this in a RBG AV on the EU servers and it worked for me O_O was quite shocked it actually worked lol immediately requed for another one

I type /away to leave every battleground I've ever left. Can't remember ever not getting deserter.

I'm a battlemaster on my main, so I've done a few battlegrounds.
