Troll Archaeology Bug

Currently there is a bug i noticed with troll archaeology which will help leveling archaeology quickly. As we all know recently they buffed archaeology which gives 3 times (15 points) the level up on rares. So far troll only has 1 rare which is the epic weapon Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds. Anyways back to the bug. I've noticed that when you get to Zandalari Voodoo Doll which is a common item it also gives you 15 points and only cost you 27 fragments. Just stay on Eastern Kingdoms and you will level archaeology quick.


edit: Adding the list for troll archaeology. The one that is underlined is the one that also gives you 15 points instead of only the Zin'rokh and how many fragments are needed for each item to give you an idea on how fast troll takes to solve.

very rng dependent but i suppose it could be useful for those rushing to max it out or to get to tol'vir level

i understand its mostly based on rng, but since you're mostly in eastern kingdom you are going to get those dig sites solved pretty quick.

Yes, it is random which artifact you can be researching. I just happened to have that one on my archy at that time.

Did it not work when you had the Zandalari Voodoo Doll to Solve or were you solving something else? As of now im still getting 15 points on my alt's.

Nice find, but to me this seems rather useless as leveling is faster in Kalimdor, and if you're hunting for Zin'rokh you should stay below level 450 and collect as many fragments you can while NOT solve them before you think you have enough for Zin'rokh. The reason for this is that at 450 you unlock the Cataclysm zones, which are a significant reduction of speed.
On top of that there's no way you can decide which artifact is upcoming, so this is pointless information - Good information, but pointless.

This happened to me aswell, but it was just the first time I did Troll archaeology, it was in no way connected to a specific item. I've done this doll probably 3-4 times and never noticed a 15 skill increase again after the 1st time it happened.
