Rogue Lockpicking (bug)? Stonecore

The last few days I was playing my Rogue and was looking for a good Lockpick spot to farm my epic Thrown wep.
When I was going Stonecore with my Guild I tried to Lockpick the mobmass in front of the last boss. I thought that it wouldnt work cause you normally cant Lockpick mobs that you cant loot.
But yeah it works.
So I was lockpicking through all these Mobs and got about 20 Chests in ~5mins.

We took a break b4 the last boss and it seems like the respawntime of their "bags" is about 10 to 20 mins.

Ya, the contents of pockets respawn after like 15ish minutes or so.

Does he mean you need to pick pocket the mob to get the lockbox then lock pick it? im very confused lol.

May be a dumb question but due to reports of things such as mounts dropping in normal versions of instances, was this method done in heroic stonecore or normal?

I realize it comes from a container thats picked off of the mob but does the version of the instance change the type of container obtained or the contents of the container?

Forgive me for not knowing as much about it - my rogue is level 3. I have a buddy who isn't 85 yet on his rogue and if it is possible to attain these on normal I'll pass the info along and we'll start working on testing it.

Yes exactly You need to pick pocket the mob to get Flame-Scarred Junkbox. After you receive them lock pick them and with luck you can get the epics.

I've done it in Heroic Stonecore. But the Container in Cataclysm is always the same its the Flame-Scarred Junkbox as you can see in my post above

I did look up the junkbox after seeing your response and though it still hasn't updated to show the epics as potential contents there were several comments regarding confirmations of them being in it and the boxes do come off of the regular mobs so I guess it's time to try our luck.

The people who have been lucky enough to get one of these epics probably didn't have the wowhead looter install to record where and what the epic was gotten off of. So it wouldn't be linked until a few people who has it gets the epic.

Is there any chance to skip the Bosses and get to the last Boss? Without engaging the first Boss, theres no hole in the wall - are there any Bugs to trigger the Boss without atacking Milhouse Manastorm and the whole trash groups?
