    Runeforging on non-DK's

If you get Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds from Archaeology on a DK, you can enchant it with your favourite runeforging enchant, and send it to a non-DK alt (warrior, paladin etc).
The sword is bind to account, like heirlooms.

This requires you have to have a level 85 DK with archaeology, and another level 85 alt who can use the enchanted sword.

I realise that few people will be able to use this exploit because of the requirements, but for those of you who can: enjoy

Have you tested this or are just guessing, because on all other heirlooms it does not work.

I doubt anyone's got that ingame yet anyway, it's a really rare drop.

My friend got the sword on his DK and sent it to his level 80 paladin, and yes it did indeed still have the runeforging enchant on it.
He could obviously not test if the enchant would actually proc or not since his level 80 paladin could not equip the sword yet, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't when the enchant is still there.

I know two people who have it on my realm, but neither has a DK (massive DK hate everywhere). But i don't see why you would need an 85 dk anyway. Just one with the right runeforging, will see if I can get one of them to try forging it with a lower level dk.

Rare droop just mean's spam one civilization :P, and yeah this is do-able (in theory in my case ot confirming here) the reason you can't DK enchant normal heirlooms is because they hav an ilvl of 1, zin'rohk's is 359 and should be able to do it fine
Interview: Is it all behind the face?
Emilie: No, it's all beneath the skirt.

NO THEORIES, the runeforging enchant will say that you need skill 300 in runeforging. i had a DK on a random realm wich had runeforing enchant and runeforging from the start when runeforgings skill was 1. and now its up to 300 and the enchant wouldnt proc because i didnt have 300 in runeforging. then i went and runeforged it again with the same enchant and saw that my runeforing skill went up to 300 and the enchant was proccing again. i hope this helps

This got fixed a LOOOOOOOOOOONG-ass time ago when Ulduar got released. The class-specific enchant will ONLY work for the toon that actually cast it, even if it's a shaman enchanted weapon being sent to another shaman, DK sent to DK, etc. I thoroughly tested this before and after Ulduar patch went live. Before that, I had a titansteel destroyer on my paladin with Rune of the Fallen Crusader (it worked), and also just to demonstrate a point, and Icesmashing Mace (best non-binding 2h weapon at the time of wotlk) with both RotFC -and- Windfury. Both of them procced regularly. But, to reiterate, this all got fixed when 3.1 went live and needed the same toon that cast the enchant to be active.
