[Trick] Move at 560% mount speed from Org to TB. * Or any zepplin.

This is just a simple yet useful trick to get from Org to TB in around a min without taking a FP.

What you do is just get the zeppy, mount up on a epic flyer and keep flying directly infront of the zeppy, as long as you keep infront and on level with the zeppy the game thinks you're still on the zepplin transportation map (moving at 280% speed) but you're also moving 280% (310% with master, 330% with master/talents/aura) yourself inside that map, so you're moving 560% speed over a normal map.

    How's this a exploit?

Blizzard intended for the second you fly off a zepplin for you to leave the "Transport map" but if you keep on level and directly infront of it you stay on the map and keep the maps speed.

    Enjoy.

    * You can do this on any zepplin which doesn't leave the map (uses a loading screen)

yeah i dont understand either. wouldnt it be the same speed as being on the zeppelin?

EDIT: if your saying that it stacks like that wouldnt you be WAY ahead and no longer really in front of it? so how would this work?

Doubt everyone can remember the exact zep path =/ Maybe if this gets a little more clarification it would be easier to understand what the point is =p

By staying infront yea I mean the zepplin path, it's not that hard. Once you've left orgrimmar it's a straight line across the barrens until you reach Thunder Bluff.

I've been using this for a while so you get used to it, if you've got a profession and you're not a mage you regularly have to move from city to city, it just helps speed it up.

Are you saying you can get out in front of the zep and continue, or are you saying you get out in front of it, lose your speed, and the zep catches back up to you. Are you getting some place twice as fast, or 4 seconds before the zep arrives?

Being able to fly in a moving objects frame of reference in WoW is by design.

Imagine that you are on the zeppelin.
You then mount your flying mount, and start flying in the direction the zeppelin is flying, still being on the zeppelin.
You are now moving in the speed of the zeppelin PLUS your own mounted speed.
If you fly away from the zeppelin, it is intended that you stop moving with the zeppelin.
However, if you keep flying in the path ahead that the zeppelin takes, you will not 'leave' the zeppelin, and you will keep the speed until you leave the path.

If you still don't understand I'd recommend trying it yourself.

He gets it. You're basically surfing on the zepplin.

The only problem is if you go too far ahead you won't see the zepplin and you will struggle following it's path, which is why I went a few times on the zepplin and making mental notes when the path changes direction and at what landmarks.
