    Meaner instant que

Ok, this is a meaner method of instant que and assumes one of you isn't a tank. Get a group of three together, one person being a tank class. Have him sign up as a tank (even though he isn't). When the three of you get in an instance vote kick one of the dps, when it asks you to choose your roles have the "tank" choose only damage. You should get a new tank quickly by sacrificing a patsy.

I don't know if this is a repost, my apologies if it is.

What a mean way! Single queing as dps takes 30min. I've also been using this method for quite some time and been warned by a gm for "harrasing players"

I'm sorry to inform about thats not true. You can instantly kick someone from your LFG-group when you've entered the instance - I know this for a fact.

why not bait and switch. 4 dps queues with 1 as either healer or tank (preferably someone that is just out farming) that person drops and then the remaining slot (healer pref) gets insta popped. No kick required, and by time you are done the instance their internal cooldown would be long over

That's a very good alteration, as long as someone is willing to give up instances for a minimum of 30 minutes. If you can find someone willing it is a better method. However healers don't get instant que, and losing a tank is about a 20 second wait when you are at the front of the line. Regardless someone is missing out on dungeons.

Another, less mean way, I've been doing this is using my 85 rogue from one account, and my 85 druid (healer) from another account. Group them up, flag druid as tank, get in group. Quit-group the druid (because my goal is getting the rogue in an operational group). By the time your instance is done, the druid's cooldown will be done. Wa-la.

If a GM would warn me for that I'd tell him off for breaking the healing game and the rediculous long DPS queues in general.

IMO pure DPS should have priority over hybrid DPS, because the former can't Tank or Heal, even if they want to to speed up dungeon queues. If you're a hybrid DPS (feral, boomkin, ele sham, ret, etc) and you're complaining about long DPS queues and whatnot, you really need to gtfo and switch to a proper spec your class was made for in the first place. Even if you don't know how to play tank or healer, it takes not more than 30 minutes to read up and a handful of quests to get somewhat proper gear (if you haven't been collecting it already). Besides, instances are the best practice for trying out tanking/healing in the first place.
