4.0.3 Old Ironforge revamped

This isn't a new way into Old IF, but this shows how it's been changed.

Basically everyone knows about this old ironforge glitch, but after a re-visit, I learn that for some reason, Blizzard has revamped it and it is now filled with new braziers and re-skinned tiles.

Maybe something is planned for the future of old Ironforge? We'll just have to wait and see.

I never got into the Beta, but if you create a new dwarf character, they opening cut scene describes that the Dwarves are in a state of upheaval after King Magni accidentally unleashed magic from a Titan Tablet and fused with the crystal heart of Ironforge. I can only assume this area will be opened up in Cataclysm but perhaps someone who was in Beta can correct me.

Also, I believe this thread should be filed under Exploration more so really than Exploits. +Rep for the effort though of heading out there to check it out though.

How is that revamped? Its a texture, the old texture was replaced in the game file with a new one, so it changed cosmetically, they didn't do anything to it.

For example, there are pillars. Textures have been changed, nothing else really. Still completely different.

I'm sorry I didn't look for a repost, but I do think I still deserve credit because...

1) you can clearly see the detail of the changed old IF better in my video
2) I clearly got to the spot a different way
3) My video was recorded on live, while yours is on the PTR. Just because they change something on the PTR doesn't mean it will be in live (heroic leap anyone?)
4) I discovered this myself, I just decided to post this on MMOwned.
