Confirm that they drop it, however the drop rate seems to be practically identical to all the others. There is also NOT a forced spawn, so I've run out of fish to kill. EPL is much better.

Edit: Spawn rate is almost to the point where you could farm without stopping, but you will end up with ~1 minute downtime periodically, and that's if you're the only person here.

Yeah, along the coast to the south s***loads of those fishes. Could easy farm approx 85 leathers per hour with Death Knight. Two rare scales & loads of blue common stuff.

I see nobody has mentioned anything to help those poor guys out there who isn't Deathknigts to grind these leathers.

Just to get people thinking they ought to check out: Swim - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft
And one more thing i didn't see on wowwiki was the elixir of waterwalking you can get either from doing the fishing daily in dalaran or fish the fishes under dalaran which you then can give to a alchemist and have him craft them for you.

In addition, if you are lucky enough to have the fishing quest in orgrimmar (can't remember the name, nor find it on thottbot) which gives you a 50% swimspeed buff, that's kinda nice to bring

Hope this lets your grinding go abit easier unless you're a DK, shaman or priest
