They will do a database check on everyone who's Cataclysm achievements are in process - Ban

Then remove all the items, achievements, etc.

Very unlikely sync, this type of early bird exploiting has been done many times in the past for new content and I don't think I've ever seen it result in widespread bans as suggested.

Remember when you could teleport your vechicle around in ulduar to kill bosses? I know several people that still have the achievements from being the first to those and they never got even warned, blizz fixed the issue and moved on, just one such example but I'm sure you can think of more.

I got around 55 stacks of Cinderbloom from Hyjal and 251 Volatile Life, as well as (Blazewing's Furious Kilt - Item - World of Warcraft). This was excellent.

From what I've seen, doesn't look like any bans are going out. We're not seeing people getting entire sets of gear in minutes and primordial saronites flaring the AH. There's no 'severity' (Blizzards words, not mine).

What makes you think that? Are you just picking one side (It either happens or it doesn't, like flipping a coin), and if your prediction becomes true then you can point your finger at everyone else? That also seems like you're not trying to warn people, just setting yourself up for a great "I told you so".

yes. I was in the zones for several hours farming, herbing, mining and exploring. no other exploits used other than MC priest trick tho.

I'd like to suggest not delving in to the realm of getting into Cataclysm zones, even the fishing. Got disconnect after portaling someone, then instead of them giving me 5g I gave them 500g (=D), and after I put in a GM ticket and deleted most of the items I already got.

WTF?! I've never done anything illegal or been suspended before. AND MY ACCOUNT IS CLOSED FOR BEING CURIOUS!? REALLY?

When I try to login it says "temporarily suspended" ... and the email says CLOSURE. When I go to "view account history" on my battle.net page it says this.
