Be /rested For Cata

Be level 79, get all the way to 99% complete and log out in a inn, you will get /rested experience before cata.

this works for players leveling a non 80 toon but 75% will be.

From what I remember, the rested bar is still moving when you're level capped. The only difference is the exp bar is invisible and exp can't be gained until the next expansion. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember when WotLK came out my 70s had rested from logging out in inns for all of BC.
I guess we'll have to see when Cata launches if all of our 80s have rested from logging out in inns.

I can't be sure but I know Blizzard isn't dumb, so I'm going to assume that they will wipe any and all rested exp for characters like 78-80 when cata comes out. Worth a try though I guess.

iirc, when wrath came out, we still had rested. I think you can only have like a level and a half of rested at any given time. And the rate you get it depends where you log out and how long.

No you dont. I was bc capped in a city for 10 days then got wrath and wasnt rested at all

This was the same for me, I had 8 70s at the time that Wrath hit, and it sucked that any leveller would have it likely, but someone who was at cap wouldn't. That's a small change the could make though, and I would be very happy. (Up to 9 80s now, saving 10th spot for goblin lock)

You this Blizzard isn't dumb? I've played this game close to 6 years now and I've lost count the amount of absolutely dumb mistakes they have made.

I've had one of my characters xp capped at 79 (.1% xp until 80) and I've never been able to get my rested xp over .1%. I think blizz foresaw this one.

I do not believe you get rested before cataclysm I'm pretty sure about it. Otherwise I'd be maxed out on rested since I am always afking or logged out with my main most of the time
