Collect wintergrasp wins, without joining the battle!

Hi, this is my first thread. My english is not the best, but i hope you get what i'm talking about.

So let's start!

Since patch 4.0.3 wintergrasp only invites the same amount of players from each fraktion. So in my case it got really hard to join the battle as an Alli player (cause we are much more Alliance players). But i want to do the "WG Veteran" before Cata launches. So i tried some things and found a way to get the win without being invited.

1. Find a spot where you can fly into WG zone and kill 2 enemy NPC's. The way from joining wg zone to the NPCs has to be very short, otherwise you will be portet out of wg before you can kill one NPC. ATTENTION: At this point you still might be in Queue. LEAVE it! Then fly into wg zone (to kill the 2 NPCs). The system will ask you if you want to join the battle -> Accept. The reason why you do this: If you are in queue BEFORE you enter wg zone you will be portet back to Dalaran, BUT if you join the queue while you are in wg you will be portet to Dragonblight/Icecrown what means you can instant fly back and try to kill NPCs. This could be a bit tricky. But you need 2 honorable kills to get the win count to your achievement.

2. After you got this 2 kills (NPCs count!) fly to the point you can see on my screenshot. you may have to try a little bit but it is not that hard to find.

3. The "hardest" part: Fly into wg zone a few seconds (4-5sec) before the battle ends. This way it worked for me 100%. Do not fly into the zone too early, cause you will be portet out of wg before the win counts! If you are not sure when the win happens (e.g. the battle ends earlyer, cause the towers get destroyed) -> ask someone who is in wg raid to /w you a few seconds before the battle ends.

Ok here's a little update:

-> You can stay on this spot and watch the progress of the battle (to know when it ends / watch tower progress / ...) BUT on this spot you won't get the win. So do this to get the win:
-> A few seconds before the battle ends (4-5sec) you HAVE TO fly into the zone to get the win counted (remember: do not fly into the zone to eary, otherwise you will be ported away to soon).

!!! I took this screen after a wg, where i JOINED the battle. That's why i'm in a raid on this screen !!! But i tried it earlyer today when i was NOT invited to wg battle !!!

On this way i got 2 wins without being invited to wg!

I think it is not intended, that you get the win without being invited to wg. So i think this is some kind of exploit (and is usefull on servers where your faction is the bigger one, and you have problems being invited).

LOL Love how ppl burst all EMO assuming nothing ever changes in the game. These are the kind of ppl, who constantly QQ in Wg general chat about
how their faction always sucks and complain for 25mins on how ppl are not listening to him, and how much their alt in the opposite faction
can pwn everyone. Nice job Sneakyleamons great attention to details...how often do you even play the game? do you just troll in trade chat all the time?

It has always been overwhelmingly amazing to me that people do NOT read the most basic things about this video game (patch notes, community page). If you downies don't take the time to read, don't make stupid comments.

In patch 4.0.3, Wintergrasp queuing was changed so that each battle attempts to match the factions at a 1-to-1 ratio. This is the exact system being used for Tol Barad in Cataclysm. While we understand that this inflates queue times for factions which are vastly overpopulated on select realms, we prefer this system over using Tenacity. In addition, the new system at least encourages playing on a faction that's better balanced against the opposing faction. With the old Wintergrasp functionality, players were almost encouraged to be on an overpopulated faction, further contributing to realm balance issues.

That said, we'll review realms with significant faction imbalances on a case-by-case basis in the event we need to take further action.

So if your server has 400 horde to 25 alliance in WG like mine, then it's going to make it a fair ratio... meaning most people won't be getting in.

Thanks to the ppl who red the whole thread and got the important facts

again:
-> If you queue and DON'T get an invite this exploit is usefull to get the win count for your wg veteran. So plz stop flaming and read EVERYTING i wrote!
-> I got another 3 wins today using this exploit! And YES if i get an invite i FIGHT and help my fraction (as i did every invite pre patch).

NO, you've forgotten 2 important facts:
- You need 2 honorable kills, otherwise you will NOT get the win!
- I toled about a spot, where you can watch the battletimer, get battlewarnings, ... WITHOUT being ported away (cause when you are not invited to wg, the system ports you out of the zone when you enter it). So usually you should not be able to watch the progress without being invited. But on this (and a few other spots) you CAN do it (and get the right moment to fly in).
