Powerlvling with Drood

Hi there,
I just want to share a littele exploit i found.

-------WHAT YOU NEED ------
-----2 Accounts
-----Drood on one account (or a friend)
-----a class with some little aoe spell to lvl

So first of all, you need to lvl your toon to the lvl, where he gets his AoE.
I used a pala with Consecration, but i think any class with lowlvl aoe should work.

--------WHAT YOU DO -------

Go to any instance with your drood (or your friends drood) and your aoe toon. Let your toon wait at the entrance of the instance or somewhere he´s save, switch to your drood and start body pulling (works best in Feral Equip cause of the damage, but i also tried healing gear and it still works, Moonkin should work because of increased dmg to thorns). Just run around, but do not attack anything.
The amount of mobs you want to pull depends on your toons hp ( Do not pull that much, if your lvling a mage).

When you´ve got the mobs you want, run back to your toon, Leave the group and cast Thorns and some HoT´s to keep your toon alive a little while.
I use this macro:

/script LeaveParty()
/castsequence Rejuvenation, Thorns, Regrowth

Your toon has to deal dmg to all the mobs to get xp before Thorns can kill them, so in the moment he gets Thorns, start casting your AoE Spell and see your toon getting aggro and the mobs killing themself.
After the mobs are dead, invite yourself with your toon again to not get ported.

This works best with melee mobs of course, but if your healthpool is big enough, just wait till the mobs have used all there mana on your drood before letting your toon take aggro.

Till now i run through Stockades (lvl 24-28 in 15min , about 1,000,000 xp/h) and Scarlet Monastry Weapon Chamber ( 28-34 in 20min, about 2,000,000 xp/h).
10 lvl in about half an hour is not so bad i think (with heirlooms)
I think half of lvl 24-25 i was rested, but no need for it, goes really fast not matter if your rested or not.

Short version
1. Get a drood and a AOE toon
2. get into any instance
3. bodypull with drood
4. give thorns to toon
5. leave group
6. let toon get aggro
7..... PROFIT

the last post is from 04-23-2009, it´s an old exploit and since Thorns just changed in 4.0.1
the 2nd post is just a theory and the way he discribes it is just not working
the first post is indeed near to my post, but i think that I showed another way using it. You can´t let a lvl 24 toon pull that much mobs an 80 druid can, so it´s different from opihue´s post. But i will Add it in my post

It being from 2009 doesn't stop it from being virtually the same method. Instead of being a permanent, re-applicable buff, it's now a CD'd buff with the same basic functionality.

I fail to see how this presents anything new. And even in the circumstance that this was new, I would put it in the guides section at this point, since the basic bug, "Thorns deals high damage to low leveled enemies, even when cast on a lowby" is nigh universally known.

Your talking about Athean or w/e his name is. He pretty much did this exact same method and even confirmed with a GM if it was legit. The GM said it was then just as hes hit 80, banned lol
