People went up there that way during BC (wotlk patch) before WOTLK was released to farm items.

this only works if you have the quest from sholazar basin..

if you dont have the quest the teleporter is deactivated and cant be used

I've used that to get from Sholazar to Un'goro long after I completed whatever quest it is involved with.

Was there farming pre-wotlk patch back in bc got some frostweave and some runic healing pots :3 remeber it like it were yesterday.....
