First, thanks for sharing this amazing spot.

This is a great way to easily make some gold while you're asleep or at work. A few points of advice from my experiences:
1) There is a rare-elite that paths directly over the spot, so if you ever see him up, it is best to kill him first.
2) This method will net you a TON of Runic Healing Potion's. I prefer to empty my bags (or as much as possible) and then use some of the ones I've previously looted and put a single potion in ~10-12 bag slots (You won't use anymore than this in a 6-10hr period). This way even if you run out of bagspace, you will continue to loot healing potions. I now have hundreds and found I can sell them in stacks of 5 for 10-20g each. Your mileage may vary. Obviously you lose out on a handful of junkboxes doing this, and a LOT of junkboxes if you leave your guy working for several hours unattended (unless anyone's worked out a way to use the clicker to open/loot/vend the junkboxes and their contents).
3) In approximately 100 hrs of doing this (~15 or so 6-8 hr sessions) so far I've been killed once by the rare-elite, and once by some random questing paladin. Other than that it has been surprisingly uninterrupted. And the gold looted so far has been amazing for being able to pay zero attention to it.

Not the best idea...here is what i do:
first we need this a Addon or something like this.
- Loot Filter - Loot Filter - Addons - Curse
Now we add all the crappy stuff these Mobs drop via Name to the filter.
- A Steamy Romance Novel: Forbidden Love
- Bent House Key
- Briny Hardcheese
- Reinforced Junkbox
- Sweet Potato Bread
- Savory Snowplum
!DO NOT add Runic Healing Potion!
Why all this if we can just fill our bags with Potion?? Becaus if we have our bags filled with potion we will not be able to loot

These Babys may have a 0,2% pick pocket chance from the mobs we are farming, but overnight I end up with atleast 2-3 usually 4-5. The Dice pick pocket chance ar at a max of 3%. I sell them for around 250g pro Dice (EU) so that makes about 1000g extra on a good night with 4 dice.

Now to my question: I use the _keySpam by Drakefish, every 250ms i press a button. now is there any way blizz could get on track of this? like seeing that I spam the same key for hours in some kind of log? I mean it's not exactlly Human to spam a key every 250 ms for over 8 hours

Yea the dice are great if you can sell them on your realm. My realm wouldn't take them as a gift so I stopped worrying about them. I have about 15 sitting in my bank. Excellent advice on using Loot Filter as all of that other junk is worth at most 1-2g to you if it was filling your bags.

To add about account security, I care significantly less about my account than I did say 3 years ago, so those concerns are best answered by someone else. I would imagine you could talk your way out of it with customer service if you were to get banned. I personally will put up a /dnd message saying I am "watching tv, not looking at the screen. mail me" or something just for the tiny extra bit of backing that provides. As for the constant interval between keypresses, you can always add a random number generator to the script to modify the clicks by a few ms here or there.

...and it might not matter (I'm not a very experience exploiter), but what method were you using? I've got the G15 keyboard, and am - for some unknown reason - thinking this is a "safer" method than installing software (anyone who knows different, feel free to correct me) to make the clicking continue indefinitely...

So yeah, keyboard or software being used when you got banned?

This is an awesome technique. I'm currently also using the G15 to spam the key. I'd like to mention it is possible as low as level 77, as the 79 mobs are yellow in relation to your level instead of red. However, to prevent Pickpocket missing (after talents were reset in 4.0.1) I realised you must have the 6% hit chance from Precision at that level and you won't miss.

Also I've been using LootFilter to get rid of those annoying Reinforced Junkboxes but it's far from perfect. When I come back to the computer after a few hours of pickpocketing I see dozens of them in my bags even though it's clearly set to delete them. I think it struggles to delete them if two drop in a row since you're pickpocketing mobs so fast. If anybody has a better addon that can delete them properly, that would be awesome.

perma-dead. I did get popped fishing 5 years ago, though. Assuming they know the extent of this I'd base my permanence on the severity of this sploit in long term use. I'll get another account soon. All I have for mmos atm is ffXIV and it blows goats. I was using the utility. Regardless, on Illidan if not all servers; If they see a rogue standing there, they know what's up. I won't do that again. Was a nice account.

If you are AFK and doing anything else then nothing, you can get banned. It doesn't have to be botting. Autoclicking is bannable as well. But Blizzard can't legally scan for autoclicker or scriptable keyboard, that would violate your privacy. But they can scan for programs that alter their software, i.e. WoW. Bots do that...

So you can get banned even for using your parrot to press the keys for you, if you don't teach him to reply to GM's message.

I think Illidan employees are just hip to this. I'd expect them all to be soon and consider it a hot spot. I'll not take chances on a new account. and yes, I was AFK. I came back to the ban after many hours sleep. This was my first time logging in on that rogue in many months and did this for about 5 hours before the ban. Pretty quick. Imma keep checking the location for other rogues but its been 24 hours so far and no one in sight. grrrr, gotta level a toon to 80 on a new account before cataclysm.
