To see their name next to the flag icon, you need DBM or other addons installed. Default UI only shows that the flag has been picked up, not the name.

Sad part is, I'm probably a better Gulch player than any of you posting in this thread. I'm sure Kazin can attest to the fact that people who twink are much more in tune with the actual objectives of BGs than normal players are. But that's besides the point.

I haven't checked in a while, but I don't think Blizzard "accepts" alt code letters. You won't get banned for it by any means but if enough people report the name you may get a forced name change.

On the subject of DBM: I didn't know HOW to install addons for the first 2 years I played this game. There are also plenty of people that refuse to use them because they play the game for you in a sense. If you can't understand why people may not use addons no matter how "basic" it is, then there is something wrong.

Not an exploit

This is not an exploit. It's a HUGE exploit There is a reason why WoW automatically makes your first letter uppercase.
Due to the simple fact that its meant to be uppercase.

Definition of the word exploit:
"An exploit, in online games, is the use of a bug or design flaw by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers."

Probably alot of players would've thought of this as exploiting, but it isn't.. click here to read more about the letter ÿ.
