Dimensius the All-Devouring

The Netherstorm quest of the same name is easily soloable, risk-free, as any ranged DPS class (did it on my hunter, will try on my mage).

Basically, you get a party of melee/healing NPCs from the Protectorate that will tank Dimensius for the first little bit, but he eventually mows them all down. The key is to stand in one of the four entrance hallways to the room. If you're a few meters behind the threshold of his room, you can pew pew him all you want and the green shadow things he spits out randomly onto the ground won't touch you.

At 20% of his health left, all the Protectorate people were dead for me (and my pet), but I sat in this hallway and finished him off without taking a hit.

EDIT: My mage has already done the quest, I guess. Can't range it on my paladin either. Anyway, I've watched an MS warrior almost solo it by bandaging in the hallways and blowing healing potions and a healthstone. Good luck.

It's pretty easy to solo. I was trying to get a 3+ party for it, but it took too long. Tried to solo, succeded at first try.

My hunter was able to stand out of his reach, but others were still alive at the end, so I don't know if it would have worked. Nice, though, +rep.

u can also go back and get a second mini army to

I've tried this on my hunter 3 times now.. doesn't work for me.. he throws me in the air for 1000dmg, and shoots me with his Shadow Spiral or whatever for 2000+, and i'm standing at max range in a doorway.
