See indefinitely with farsight

you can "walk" farsight along the game and thereby see as far away as you like as well as deep into caves and even into unfinished areas of the game.

1> make a hotkey for farsight

2> cast farsight into the direction you want to look as normal.

3> hit your hotkey while still in farsight mode and before the view shifts back to normal click the targetting cusor onto the ground in the direction you wish to look.

this is a very useful trick for checking !@#$%^&* out in places that are a pain in the !@#$%^&* to get to to decide if you want to bother, such as checking to see if kazzak is up.

i have managed to check out lights hope chapel from trisfal glades using this,

so do you have to be a certain class to use farsight? as i couldnt get it to work with eagle eye either.

It works the exact same as Eagle Eye, am I doing something wrong? I use it, then use it again and click somewhere as fast as I can... but it still dosen't work.

zaknefein yes u are..:
Create a macro with /cast eagle eye
put the macro at a hotkey spot. fx 1. then cast ur eagle eye with using hotkey and simply cast it again =) .. works wonders

I'm not sure if this works with Eagle Eye(http://www.thottbot.com/?sp=6197) or Ornate Spyglass(http://www.thottbot.com/?i=5420), But I can say that It probly works with Farsight which is a Shamman ability. So I'll try and confirm if Eagle Eye works, as of people confirming farsights working.
