Blood-queen Mind Control glitch

Last week during the blood queen fight, one of our raid members got dc'd right as he got Uncontrollable Frenzy - Spell - World of Warcraft

instead of running around and killing the raid he stood there and wasnt moving. we managed to kill the boss, barely mind you, but we did it and he also had gotten the frost badges from the boss

so the exploit is
1. If you get MC'd on blood queen alt f4
2. hope your raid has the dps to finish her off
3. ???
4. profit

TBH I'm guessing epic timing that he DCed right before it got on him and it's setup not to do it to already DCed players...I'm willing to believe if you tried to ALT+F4 after you were already MCed (btw, stop failing and don't get MCed), you would still run around and kill people. May be wrong...basically need someone to waste an attempt to find out. =p

The above post is wrong. its the same concept as dc'ing under the effects of a mind control helm or priest mc, your toon does not move, and the ability is canceled. Since the boss mc cannot be canceled, he would simply stand still with the debuff active. +Rep this could be interesting to try if i ever get mc'd

This doesn't really seem like something that is tested, seem more like a theory to me.

Also it is not really useful since you will properly need the person who dc'ed. Due to the strict timer that is on the boss. Also using Alt-f4 does not disconnect you from the server before a little while after.

Why would one need a Mind Controlled person running around killing off the raid one by one?.

meh sometimes its just fun to watch people get curbstomped by a big crazy mc'd guildie while we just laugh in vent,sometimes wipes are the most fun you will have in a raid night.

and those stories are even funnier 1 or 2 years down the line when a grp of ya are remembering "old" times when WoW was so much better than what you currently have before you. xD

If you dc intentionally, you wont kill people, and you wont get the achievement/loot.

If you go MC, you don't deserve the achievement or the loot.
