X-52 Rocket Helm in Azeroth!

I did not find this topic in this forum so i shall post it.
1. you get the helmet (Doh!)
2. Equip helmet option to a key
3. Have a /afk macro and hotkey it
4. Enter a BG Q in a major city in azeroth and get to outlands quick
5. When the BG pops quickly equip the helm using the hotkey.
6. as soon as the map loads hit the /afk macro hotkey.
7. when you enter the major city hit the helm hotkey again to use it.(it shouldnt shoot you up but it will be on CD)
8. wait 30 minutes for it to Come back in use
9. go somewhere where no-one can see you, unless you wanna get banned, and use it
10. voila, you should be in the air and using the helm

PS: i do not know in this works with the current patch, the process is long and i dont want to waste my time.(but you can try) -----)(Please leave the copyright text intact)(-----

Mages can blink while in mid air, move slightly foward, maybe enough to get on a ledge, ill try some places, does it work if you then go into an instance?
If anyone have any ideas, just ask ill try em out if i can and post on it

I tried this, and couldnt get it to work.

Tried changing things a bit and still nothing, so those who confirmed this, could I please get a picture of it? and also an explanation of what you did would be great.

So... the method I'm trying is:

1. Helmet bound to "1" (not wearing it though)
2. /afk bound to "2"
3. Join BG queue in Darnassus
4. Teleport to Shattrath
5. BG entry message pops, immediately hit "1" then accept
6. Spam "2" until the return loading screen appears
7. Spam "1" until I reappear in Darnassus

The problem is, I'm not getting the cooldown to activate. Just says "You can't use that here" and... that's it.

Any suggestions, or clarification on how to do it right?

Could u get a warlock to summon u on that pipe in netherstorm and use the helm to rocket up to TK?
