Extended Raid Lookout

This is not the best exploit and im not going 100% in for this one got alot flames last time i contributed something. So here it comes

Last Tuesday our GM took Extend raid lookout, today (Saturday) we went to the extended raid lookout were we was at Lich king on 10 ICC, we wiped around 20 times and decided to call it for the evening, a couple of hours we all noticed something, we wasen't SAVED, so you can save to a raid you can prolly do it on an alt (save the raid on it) and really hardcore wipe on some boss like Lich king, and now if you don't take him, you still can do ICC10 agian and take the other bosses for gear and etc.

This is normal. The only reason you would get saved is in a situation of limited attempts (i.e you were doing Arthas on Hard Mode) or in an Algalon type fight where you activate a specific server related event (the 1 hour timer).

You did nothing to get saved in the extended lockout. If you had killed Arthas you would have been saved.

[edit] let me also clarify that anyone who was not on the "original extended ID" would indeed get saved upon zoning in. They would get the pop up box saying you have entered an instance with X bosses dead, would you like to continue.[/edit]

Seeing as you would have been saved if it was an un-extended raid in this situation, I don't think you can say it is "working as intended". It looks like it's an oversight on Blizzards part, and therefore still an exploit.

I don't think Blizzard intended for people to get saved to a normal Raid ID, and not an extended ID.
