"Residue Rendezvous" Made Easy

With the latest patch comes new weekly raid quests in ICC.

"Residue Rendezvous" Requires you to return to the questgiver with a debuff from both Festergut & Rotface. These debuffs only last for 30 min, so wiping on Rotface after you've killed Festergut can ruin your chances at completing the quest.

This exploit involves getting both debuffs without killing either boss.
Only one person needs these debuffs for everyone to get credit for the quest.

You need a warlock in your group to do this. (rogue or hunter works too, a drop aggro ability is required)

Rotface
- You get the Green Blight debuff from taking damage from his slime spray ability

1. Have your warlock place his teleport just outside the door.
Nobody dps except for your warlock, tanks and heals do the usual.

2. Let your warlock get hit with the slime spray, pull aggro and teleport to reset the boss. (dont die.)

Festergut
- You get the Orange blight debuff from having a spore explode on you

Repeat the process the same as Rotface, letting your warlock pull aggro once they have the orange blight debuff, teleport and reset the boss.

Return to the Quest giver with both debuffs, and you win.
Easy 5 Frost badges and possible lewtz.

Confirmed working, we tried this, aswell as having a hunter FD with the debuff to be sure on getting the Green Debuff on atleast one target, then we just killed Festergut, and turned in the quest.

Out of the 10 people who turned in the quest, we got two epixx ;p

You only need one person with both buffs. We wiped our entire raid, but saved the warlocks and hunters. Amazing find!

such a shame, wanted to post the same thing, we killed festergut, and wanted to go to sleep, because it was 1 am, but we decided to try to "glitch" it with a hunter getting hit by the spit of rotface, so he gets the second debuff. then the whole raid ran into the funny green spots and wiped, except for the hunter with feign death, quest did also count for the whole raid free 5 frost emblems for us. this is maybe common sense for some people, but i guess the quest intends normally to kill both, probably blizzard will fix this soon.

Still working as of today just tried this. First attempt flopped for some reason but second try on rotface worked. Then we got festergut and everyone got the quest done.

So it's not fixed if it was not supposed to be intended.
