Yes it is old. But there are still some that do not know.

I put this in exploits because it is using game mechanics to your advantage.

using game mechanics to your advantage is not an exploit. an exploit is using unintended behavior to your advantage. If they didn't want people to do this, they would have bosses respawn immediately instead of giving people enough time to even get into position.

I have been using this technique on my mage using arcane barrage and invisibility for a while. Im surprised to actually see this thread. I kinda agree its an exploit but to be honest its been this way for as long as i can remember so cant see it getting hot fixed.

It enables you to greatly increase DPS time on the boss before the drakes come.

It is very helpful. Another technique that could prove more useful than a speed pot is running for a flame tornado. It will toss you over 9000 yards away

This is patch 3.3.2., you can do this sooo easy now. I did it pre-ulduar, then it was pretty hard, now its sooo easy.

Why on earth would you wan't to go through all that.. it is just a time waster imo.. if you need the extra 30k dmg you would do to him in the 2 secs it takes to run in then you shouldn't be doing 3d sarth.... I think it is pointless.. and basicallythe same strat as normal.... I would just delete this post if i was an admin.. just a rehash ofthe same old thing. You would kill him faster if you did itthe normal way instead of wasting the 10 or 20 secs to reset him and move into posistion before he respawns
