Bloodqueen DK Exploit

There is currently a bug with Bloodqueen in icc 25.
If you have a Unholy DK Tank with boneshield as OT, the stacks of boneshield doesnt wear off = a passive 20% dmg reduction.

Might be usefull for someone atleast, managed to tank the boss for 3 min in my dps gear after our OT died, thats how i noticed it.

Damage reduction effects don't work on the damage the offtank takes. He takes exactly the same amount of damage as the maintank, so the only way to reduce the damage the offtank takes is to reduce the damage the maintank is taking.

So you are saying if the OT...let's say Warrior OT with shield wall, he does not take 40% less dmg? I think not...

Yes, he's right. Damage reduction abilities used by the offtank do not mitigate damage taken by the offtank. It's just mirrored damage from the main tank. So no, this isn't an exploit. Working as intended. You're damage wont be reduced.

It does reduce damage, you guys are wrong.
I can even immunize myself by popping Anti magic shell.

AMS doesn't reduce the damage income, it simply absorbs the damage you would take. It works in the same way a Power Word:Shield or Last Stand doesn't reduce your damage income. It simply makes the damage more manageable by adding some more damage you can take before dying.

Damage reduction effects don't work on the blood mirror target, lolz @ people thinking they know better without remotely having a clue. Your bone shield charges aren't going down because they aren't being used and consequently you aren't benefitting from any % damage reduction(yes this extends to shield wall for the OT).

As said above. Bone shield doesn't reduce damage taken from mirror image, same thing for any self damage reduction abilities (glyph of divine plea, defensive stance, blessing of sanctuary...etc).

The damage reduction AMS gives is damage reduction from the passive aura within this fight.

I cbf looking for the link, but hits EVERY member of the raid for 4k per second or some shit. THe mitigation you see is from the magic damage of this aura.
