Extra 2 Triumph badges at rollover

Hey everyone,

Found a simple exploit this evening when I was farming heroics. I was about halfway through a heroic when the server rolled over, heroics reset, ect. Well, at the end of the dungeon, I not only got the 2 frost for doing the daily random (as the server rolled over), I also got the 2 triumph that I would have gotten if I had finished the instance before rollover!

In short:
1: Que for instance about 10-15 min before server rollover.
2: Let server rollover before finishing the instance.
3: Profit.

I believe you are misunderstanding. He just means by "rollover" the time at which dailies reset. It's at 3am on my US realm...so he's saying queue for a random at like 2:50am (the reward will be 2 extra triumph), but wait until AFTER 3am to actually finish the instance. He's claiming you'll get the 2 triumph you were promised when you queued, but you'll ALSO get the 2 frost for doing your first random of the new day.

Its not about the usage, it is about the fact that this is an exploit. Nice find, but im quite sure this doesnt work. I always do daily heroic while it gets 3am. Never found one extra emblem, maybe you were in oculus?

I guarantee this does not work on my server. I queue up quite frequently about a half-hour before reset; by the time I actually get in and complete it the time has rolled past 3 and I've always only gotten 2 frost + 1 triumph (because the boss will drop that anyways).
The only exception to this is (as said earlier) if it is Occ.

That was the bizarre thing, when I downed the boss, it told me that I got 1 badge, and then 2x triumph for completing the random dungeon (It was Ahn'kahet the Old Kingdom btw, not OCC). Then, when I looked in my currency tab, it showed that my frost went up from 10 to 12, it didn't state that in my chat or anything.

Maybe it was a one time deal, idk. I wish I took a screenshot of it though, but it slipped my mind at the time.

Gonna try it again tonight and see if it works again, or it it was just a fluke.

I've observed this happening with the lockout reset, not with the server daily quest reset though, I'm never on that late.

Doin my daily-frost often just before the rollout. 1) Youre right, you will get the 2 frost for it. 2) Youre wront, these arent 2 extra frost. You simply get saved for the daily-frost of the next day(cannot get another 2 ones on that id)

Gah, sorry I haven't updated this. Too busy with dead week + finals. I intend to test this as soon as I get some time however.

Anyways, Netzgeist, the intention of this isn't to get 2 extra frost, as imba as that would be. The exploit lies in getting 2 extra triumph (as much as those matter now lol).

This does not work. It is a UI bug, when it happens, (which is rarely). Due to my job I only play early morning about the time daily rollover happens. This is what happens.

Do Daily, queue up shortly before rollover, complete instance after rollover, you get two frosts, you do NOT get two extra triumph. From time to time it will show in the chat that you got two extra triumph, but if you keep an eye on your triumph total, it only goes up by 1, (from the boss him/herself).

Rare Visual bug, nothing more. I have experienced this SEVERAL times.
