Left over bracelets? No worries mate!

Before I begin, I would like to say I'm sorry if this is not where you want this topic posted. I wasn't too sure if this should be posted in guides OR in the little thing that says 'all love is in the air stuff here' seeing as love is in the air is now over and done with! However if you would rather me delete this post and add it there, I will be more then happy to.

So I logged onto my lowbie space goat that I'm too stupid to know how to play and noticed something in my quest log. I still had the 'hey you give this bracelet to the king of stormwind' quest! Being the dorky little person I am, I invited a friend to group and tried to share the quest with him. Not only did it work, but it ALSO gave him the box to make charms.

I quickly made a lvl 1 to hold onto the quest so that I could share it with my 80's every day for a free 13 gold and bought a few bracelets that people had left over for 50 silver each since they thought the charms were now worthless.


For those who dont like to read, let me put this in terms that you would understand.

If a player has a quest still to turn in a lovely charm bracelet to one of their faction leaders, this quest can be shared with others and will give the person who accepts the quest the box to make more charms.


Why do I think this is an exploit? Well a few reasons. Love is in the air has ended for one. All the quest givers are gone and the horrible perfume has been packed away. Also, most quests that give you an item upon accepting can NOT be shared, however this one can.

Aren't dailies only sharable on the day they were picked up? After that attempting to share a daily will say something like 'That quest cannot be shared today.' That's how most dailies work. Is that not the case with these?

Also, all bracelets and other items are going to be removed during maintenance tomorrow, so this is only going to be applicable for one day.

As for the daily part, yes that's what I thought as well. However I picked up the quest on my space goat on the first day of love is in the air and I can still share it even after it is over..

As for the maintenance.. I was not aware of that. I guess I should close down this thread?

Confirmed. it is still shareable today after the servers came back up. and will still give the charm collector's kit.

Also any perfume that was put into a guildbank is still there, and useable.

Wonderful! Thank you for confirming this, I was afraid it was not going to work after today. Yay for a free 13g daily!

Alot of people were smart enough to use guild banks or the AH to keep their items. I'm personally going to do this next reset in case they try and catch people off gaurd with another 'fix' to remove them again.

Indeed. But not many people kept the quest. I'm selling off the quest to people for 5g each share. They still make a profit, but then so do I :3!
